Want a Closer Look at Princess Eugenie's Wedding Dress? Soon You'll Be Able To Get One
Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank's wedding outfits are set to go on display at Windsor Castle in England as part of a special exhibition entitled, "A Royal Wedding: HRH Princess Eugenie and Mr Jack Brooksbank".
The exhibition will include Eugenie's beautiful wedding dress, which was designed by Peter Pilotto and Christopher de Vos. It was memorable for its fold-over neckline and low back, designed to show off a scar Eugenie has from scoliosis surgery. The fabric of the dress incorporated symbols that are meaningful to Princess Eugenie, including the White Rose of York, and ivy to represent the couple's home, Ivy Cottage, on the grounds of Kensington Palace.
Visitors will also be able to see the Greville Emerald Kokoshnik Tiara, which Eugenie borrowed from Queen Elizabeth II for the occasion. It's the first time the tiara, which contains six vibrant emeralds, will go on display to the public. Jack's black and gray morning suit and blue waistcoat, made for him by tailors at Huntsman on London's Savile Row, will also be on display.
With this exhibition, the royal couple are following in the footsteps of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, whose wedding outfits were also displayed at the castle until recently. Meghan and Harry's ensembles are now going on tour, and will be exhibited at the Palace of Holyroodhouse in Scotland from June 14. Eugenie and Jack's outfits move into the space on March 1, and will be exhibited until Apr. 22. Access to the exhibition is included in the ticket price of entry to Windsor Castle itself, and Tickets can be booked online via the Royal Collection Trust. Whether or not you're planning on making the trip, keep reading for a little reminder of those stunning royal wedding outfits.
