These Banana Republic Heels Prove That Nude Doesn’t Equal Beige, and Amen to That!

If you're anything like Meghan Markle or Angelina Jolie, then you probably know the magic of nude heels: they pair with almost anything. Whether you're pairing them with your favorite jeans or a flowy Spring dress, neutral heels will blend right in and make the rest of your outfit pop. That is, as long as you can find them in your shade.

Even a simple Google search of "nude shoes" only produces the same two or three shades of light beige, so finding a decent pair of nude heels in a shade other than your average Band-Aid can definitely be a struggle. In an effort to be more inclusive of all skin tones, Banana Republic has released an entire collection of basics in nude tones - and I need to get my hands on a pair of those heels.

"Inclusion is such a beautiful thing," the brand captioned an Instagram photo introducing the new line of shoes. The retailer's True Hues Collection includes a pair of Bare High-Heel Sandals ($118) and a pair of Madison 12-Hour Pumps ($89-$118) available in five shades, including Sonoran Beige and Espresso Brown. Ranging from sizes five to 12, each pair of heels is simple and classic, making them an easy accessory choice for any outfit. Shop the complete heel collection ahead!
